The location of the hotel was secluded, right by several other pointe of attaction like the Bombay Sapphire Distillery, and leisure centre. Also, Church of st James was 2 miles away from the property. Appreciated its restaurant for the Evening meal, nice bonus, especially when its cold outside.

Thank you for a great stay. Great to have wake up calls and ironing free of charge. The best thing is location - very close to the pond, many facilities and bars. It is set off the beaten track.

The hotel, lobby room and restaurant were good!
It was located in the middle of the nowhere. And the ways to our room were eternally long - 5 minutes without lying.

Decent-sized pool setting with enough loungers for a good relaxing time. The hotel features unique elements like a mix of modern and Manor House architecture.
Sound insulation between rooms leaves much to be desired. Conversations from adjoining spaces can be clearly heard. The bar prices also feel over the top, pushing a pint to feel more like a special occasion rather than a casual drink. Dining options fell flat, the bar menu lacked variety, and portion sizes didn't match the price tag, leaving diners feeling disappointed. Cleanliness issues were evident in the room, like stained bedding and unclean cups, which marks an unfortunate oversight for a place priced at this range.

Signs/directions at the hotel could be better. old entrance has been relocated. Hard to find if you come from the wrong side.

Spa treatments were fantastic but dining left much to be desired
I had an overall enjoyable stay with fantastic spa treatments that helped me unwind completely, but the dining experience was marred by slow service and miscommunication regarding our meal arrangements. The room was clean and spacious. There were several staff interactions that were frustrating, particularly during dinner service.
